Wow! This place is amazing! The service makes me feel like I'm over at a friend's house... a friend whose parents happen to make the best Italian food. A few favorites - fried smelts for an app. My little one barely shared with us the first time we went. We asked for the sauce on the side. I don't know what is in it, but I could practically drink it. - The Godfather. You can't go wrong with this platter. The surprise was the eggplant parm. It was so delicate and flavorful! There are few places we can go with a kid and feel like the space is a treat for the parents and still great for the kids! It's nothing fancy - again, the ambiance its very much like being over at a friend's home... you'll leave with a full belly and a happy heart!

Jack's still serves the best Shrimp Mozambique. Perfectly cooked shrimp in a sauce that is perfect for dunking your bread in. They still serve pasta by the pound which makes it a great place to bring your family. The service is attentive and friendly. After all of these years, it is still a fun and casual place to eat.

Excellent food and Service! My wife snd I go almost one a week! Our favorite dishes are the Jacks red seafood special pasta and the scrod B&B. They also have some nice home made deserts!!!

This place is a hidden gem!! The variety of options on the menu is great! Lots of seafood, chicken and steak choices. The service was excellent and prompt! The atmosphere is an old school family restaurant which we enjoyed! The atmosphere is very clean and well kept!! I loved the Portugese steak that I ordered! The portion size was nice and the quality was excellent!! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!

STILL THE BEST!!! Jack's takes "family restaurant" to a whole new meaning. The heart and soul put into this establishment is rare. Maria and Jack Jr. are keeping their parents legacy alive while serving up the best New England style food there is.

Been coming here since the 80's, always get the same thing; Jack's Red special seafood spaghetti paired with a tall gin & tonic. Quaint atmosphere with the same old tiled floors and bistro tables. Has a separate bar that is always full with folks waiting for tables on Thursday, Friday and Saturday dinner hours. Lots of seashore scene paintings and various vintage knick knacks framed by little strings of blinking lights. In honor of Mothers Day there is a pink tree adorned with photos of family Mothers and Grandmothers. Good food and drinks are as good as ever, it's been a long time since we were last here as we moved to Connecticut many years ago but we crave that spaghetti. They do not share the recipe so don't ask. We do our best to replicate it though.

Every time we come to Jacks we can't believe how good everything always is. The smelts are my favorite but every dish has such delicious flavor. Hands down best food and great service. My family loves coming to jack's!

We've been going to Jack's for many years. The food is always great. The "special" spaghettis, both white and red, are outstanding. We had the antipasto platter, marinated smells, crams casino, & calamari. Everything was delicious. The service, by our waitress Jessica, was outstanding. She is very attentive and personable. It goes without saying that we will be back. I find few places that I'm willing to drive 45 minutes for, but Jack's is one of the few.
